Lookie what I did this morning
A storm was blowing through the valley so I ran outside and took some pics.
This is "my rock" outside the back of the crib where I have a nice peaceful cup of coffee in the AM. The other side of that ledge.... 900 ft drop, 1800 ft down total to sea level. We don't need no stinkin' guard rails.
As it started to sprinkle, I leaned into it a little.

It's fuel. Once the mind is clear, the body is free to roam and cause chaos all day

Every time I get out there I can't help but hear "dew, dew,dew lookin' out my back door" in my head every morning in the spring when everything is slippery and covered in morning drizzle.
You have to have a balance in life to stay sane. When your perspective is off from everyone else's, whoever else is near you that takes themselves outside the box will notice. Wake up every morning without a little peace and you'll never be able to see past the moment you're in.
I've seen people get a little "chi" in the AM from a simple mood light in a dark room and some Tchaikovskii on their iPhone headphones. 15 minutes is all it takes, but 30 will push you all the way to midnight. It's a total change of mind without even trying. Don't think it, just do it.Screw #Winning, I'm #Juanning

Brilliant!
Wish I had a similar view each morning to wake to. Currently my house is tightly surrounded by tall trees in the middle of a little city outside Boston. It blocks some of the sounds of the city but the best part is - due to it being on the second and third floor (attic office) - I feel like I am living in a tree house. The birds at sunset and sunrise are my soundtrack of choice. Too bad I have to move in two weeks.
