Hopefully things will work out for them. Choosing to live on the coast can be a great experience for the most part until something like this happens. I live in Florida and it is something we just deal with.
I wish them luck.

Good luck. My house still won't have power long after everyone else gets it though. Our powerline got knocked down completely by a tree.

Ouch sorry to hear..... I have a few friends from Galveston and Houston up here... A couple staying at my house, they are so nervous to go home. Thats one feeling I'd never want to have.
Looks like we're gonna have a slow day here at the dealership. My sales people are getting discouraged looking at the weather report.

*Edit* Title.
Yeah, lets be a little more sensitive on our choice of wording.

Okay. Sorry about that. Around here, it's not that big of a deal. Smatter of fact, when used that way, it's really showing sympathy. Ah, dialects. You can hear the phrase here in the Midwest with Irish immigrants and on TV in Britain and Australia. Even the movie "Patton" used it almost 40 years ago in 1970.
It's a big world, people.

Via mobile weather.com and my iPhone I was able to track this storm as were being hit. Glad the fatalities were minimum, but hope we get some power soon. Otherwise we have a generator and my iPhone!
