How Much Of a Mess is your iTunes?
After upgrading to iTunes 8 I can now see even more, how much of a mess my iTunes really is.
With just over 6000 songs... many duplicates, album artwork is disappointing, incomplete albums etc. Run Fixtunes with a hope of some hope of a cleaner looking iTunes (numerous times) with little improvement.
Iphone has duplicate cover flow album art work even though itunes doest show 2 albums of that same artist.
If anyone knows a quick & easy fix like fixtunes (but works) please let me know, not worried on the price just a solution.
Cheers,
Nick

I don't actually use iTunes, but almost all of my albums are complete, and most of them have album covers.

i want all info for every song, but since i dont, i keep it clean by removing all data from all songs except for album and artist (and i make sure theyre perfect, so Kanye West is always Kanye West, not Kanie West or sumin...). this is quite organized.

The number is at the bottom of the screen shot
I use as many as I can wedge on 9 pages of springboard
Ebay, craiglist, and aim are the only 3 free apps I have, but they are three of the most useful.Last edited by one1; 09-12-2008 at 09:37 AM.

They all kinda suck.
I REALLY dislike that app. It's a good app and all, but makes me have to click into multiple areas just to get to an app. I'd have like 6 pages of categories to organize all that and I've be clicking all day to find something.Guess you cant fit more using catagories?
Given the choice of anything you can have on your phone (I have all options), this is what I chose.

I feel the same about categories...I don't like digging through menus.
My iTunes is very organized, but only because I am afraid to dump all of my music in there right now. I have very limited stuff in it. I have been editing gigs of music for 3 months now to get it ready.

It takes alot of work to unify your iTunes. When I first started, mine was a mess. I kept on plucking at it and it's know to the point where I like it. No album duplicates, artist are the same and not a clutter grid view.
What I need to do now since iTunes 8 is to compile and Set genres correct so I dont have so many.
Alittle help - How do you capture screenshots of your screen on the computer? (MacBook)

Um I tried that already. I bought a Macbook Pro.
The first week my screen started getting lines in it. Returned it.
Got it back. Hard drive failed.
Brought it back to the store and got my money back minus a restocking fee(bastards).
I did like how they were very fast in fixing my issues (unlike HP). When I get home next week I am considering trying again. I want an iMac.

Is there a decent software that can filter all of my songs and actually re-tag them properly?
