Calling MacBook Air Users:
So, anyone besides myself take the plunge? I went back several pages on here, and didn't see any mention of a purchase. I like it! It's quite peppy and feels solid. It handles all my apps so far (haven't tried anything TOO heavy).
Anyway - anyone else? How do you like it?

It's useless to me. The Air only has one thing that is a plus (size) and everything else is actually LESS than a Rev A MacBook in specs. Therefore unless you need it for travel like it was designed for, you are paying twice the money and getting half the notebook.

I love my MacBook Air...
I mean, seriously, it's so thin you could probably fell a tree with it
Wish Leopard's graphics were smoother though.

I have it. I love it. I dont need a powerhouse computer. I am a student and i just need it for taking notes and being portable. I love it. battery life is great and lots of laides are like "Oh snap! is the the mac book air!?!!?" .... lol I think it is a great machine if it fits your niche.

ha. getting a laptop because the ladies say "is that a macbook air" is a horrible reason to buy electronics.

for 1799 with education discount I'd rather get a base MacBook pro then spend 1699 on a base MacBook air
