NYC or Washington DC

So I am considering surprising my girlfriend for our two year anniversary with a trip to either NYC or Washington DC. Our 2 year is a few months away but a trip like this will take time to save and plan.

What do you guys think? What would be more enjoyable? They both seem to cost about the same for airfare and hotel. She hasn't been to either place and I think they would both be a ton of fun! Let me know.

being from NYC I would say here there are alot of things to see plus the nightlife is out of this world. limitless things to do

D.C. is more of a "field trip" place. Take her to NYC. You will have more fun.
