TI-89 Titanium

i just got my new ti-89 titanium from skool n thought to myself 'this would b kool w/ some games!' so i installed ti connect ver 1.6 and i have the black cable ti supplied me from the box. wen i open ti connect, it finds the calc, and i can do minor things like browse the files or create folders, but wen i try to transfer files to or from my pc it does not work. nor can i get it to take a screenshot. if any1 noes bout this stuff id b thankful 4 some help. btw im on a WIN XP

What is the problem? Any error messages? I have that same calculator, but an old version of TiConnect (maybe 3 years old)? I never bothered updating it. I have no idea if they released an update though.

Anyway, I have no problems... you are sure you're transferring to main?

yea im transferring to main... see the screenshot below, thts what error msg im getting... do you happen to have the old install file for your old version of ti connect? maybe it works better than the newer version for some reason...

I think you forgot to attach it or something; I don't see anything listed there.

I just used the CD that came with it, but that's back home - I'm at boarding school now in my dorm, so I don't have it, sorry.

whoops! realized the pic is a little small... the error msg is 'USB Communication Error: Cancel (8C08CCCC)

ah well... well do you have any ideas on a solution? maybe im missing something...

Does anybody know how to get games onto the TI-94 Plus calculator? Does that work with Macs too?

I can't speak for Macs, but I do have a TI-84 (not plus), as well.

Check ti-calc.org. Great site, lots of resources. Make sure you get MirageOS! That thing is awesome.
