My dad adopted (when I used to live with him) a black lab from the Humane Society. We named her Chelsea, and we were sure that she came from an abusive home. No physical scars, but she just would not bark at anything. That is, until one day she saw herself in the mirror. We were in the living room when we heard this low pitched growling. My dad and I are wondering what the heck is going on, and so we followed the sound. Sure enough, shes in there growling and barking up a storm at herself. She has really come a long way since we first brought her home. I still get to see her every so often.

I have a 7yr old Jack Russell (pups) & a 1yr old Staffie (Harri) both are rescue dogs, as you could probably imagine the Jack Russell is boss and makes sure the Staffie knows it.
