    Default does anyone wonder why.....

    why is it that when a iphone 4GB is formatted it gets 3.5GB space yet when a 16 is formatted it gets 14.5GB. i mean they booth got the same software on it whats the 1GB difference?

    Sorry, math tells me its 0.5 Gig difference, and no, I have no idea. Probably its taken up or down to the nearest. 4 GB for example could mean 3.58, not 3.5. If so, then 4 times as much, as in 16 GB would be 14.32, maybe written as 14.5 GB.
