"Your Recent Apple In-Store Repair"....

So, I received an email from Apple today regarding my "recent Apple in-store repair". They were wanting me to fill out a survey describing my visit and what not.

Quote:

"Dear Apple Customer:

On behalf of Apple, we would like to invite you to participate in a follow-up
web survey regarding your recent in-store repair experience at the Apple Retail
Store.

Your perspective is very important to Apple and the AppleCare team. All
information you provide will be treated in accordance with Apple's privacy
policy and will be used solely to improve our support programs and product
offerings.

To complete this web survey, simply click on the web address (URL) displayed
below or copy and paste the entire web address into the address field of your
web browser."

etc, etc.

Problem: I havent been to Apple for a repair.

???

So, there was a link to follow if "the email was sent in error", didnt have any info to fill out other than checking "no visit, no repair".

Im gonna call them tommorrow cause it almost worries me a little. So, my question is.......

Has anyone else ever gotten such an email.....ummmm, in error?

If you had an iPhone or iPod swapped out recently, then that might be the email generated by Apple for service evaluation.

If it is, be honest, it's a performance feedback thingy. If it is BS like the previous posters suggest, then by all means don't fiddle with it further.
