Looks cool, personally I love my iphone but have had several blackberries and love them too. They are my second choice.

we saw all the iphones clones. failed.
and this one will fail as well, my guess is that it will have a different platform which will make all the apps of the other blackberries incompatible with this one

thought it was called the thunder still. it looks like itll pack a big punch when finally released. i wanna actually get rid of my 3g for the bold. my pal got his off ebay for a pretty penny and other than the browser which is decent, its a great phone
edit:
saw the official branding still liked the thunder name better =]Last edited by pokekid; 08-28-2008 at 01:46 AM.

Looks nice, too bad its a VZW exclusive.
The Instinct and the Dare are far from badass, IMHO. I tried them both, and the touch interface is not even close to the iPhone's. They are both poor copies at best.Apples taste good.

some places are saying that it has a sim card in it
so i assume it can hold one???
idk im doin some more research but there isnt much info out at the moment
and towards "kruejl"
i can see what your saying but dont you ever get the feeling that your iphone/itouch is a bit to sensitive and that you dont have to press down
imho i think that being able to press down and actually "feel" what your doing is a bonus with the mini vibrations and all

^^^I have had many touch devices, and they all had the soft, plastic screen that gives a bit when pressed. The iPhone screen seems so much stronger and its less likely to scratch. Haptics (vibration) are nice to let you know you pressed a "key" but the iPhone scrolls so much nicer. Just personal taste I suppose.
Apples taste good.

Oh man it is a very difficult position you are suffering now cause both iphone and blackberry is a quite a difficult to judge for.
But the advice is it depends on your work , if you are into a a more serious business stuff and you need a faithful PA , then storm is gonna be better and if you think that you are into some real richboy showoff , then iphone is gonna rock out.

the iphones UI is nicer but blackbery has lots off apps that you can download OTA (over the air) and makes for easy install, plus it seems to have a working "push" system so to me its a toss up between looks and apps

Ive never been disappointed with the blackberry's ive had. Im glad there are more and more companies pushing touch screens. It provokes thought and ideas for devs. and designers on our side. (iphone) I think youll be happy always with a blackberry and if you do get it, let us all know how it is. Im starting to turn into a complete phone hobbyist. Who knows I might even pick up the newest edition to TMo (HTC Dream) just to check it out.

Lol^^
Its too round.. sorta reminds me of an egg... And looks too small.. Older blackberrys look nicer imo
Also is that what the phone is actually gonna look like or is it just a concept image?Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do. SteveJobs
