Check out www.apple.com

Hi,

Congratulations on ur new Mac! Like I always tell all I know, what's u go Mac.....u never go back.

Anyway, the Apple Website has a lot of tutorials and downloads. I've learned a lot from those tutorials....best part? It's video tutorials! Lol.....

As far as software and programs go, their download section has lots of trials and such. But quite honestly, most apps that u use are already on ur Mac!

Enjoy ur Mac!!

Pwnage is the tool you need for mac.
MIME plugin- http://macosx.com/topics/mime-plug-in.html
No antivirus program needed on a mac, mate. For now.

As for a virus program here is a free one... but with Mac's you really don't need to use one.... I thought the same thing when I converted over but since I have I don't use a virus program because there are hardly any virus's made for Mac's.. just windows...

One of the cool things about the mac is that any new dev team/jailbreaks/unlocks etc that come out are usually introduced on the mac first. I Remember on the RAZR it took years for a mac modding software (moto4lin) for any one who knows what I'm taking about.

A good way to see what you might want or need is go to youtube and type in mac software, mac tips, mac tricks. mac games etc anything to do with macs and you will learn alot.... that is what I did when I first converted over....

Also you can use Vmware and Parallas as well on Mac's to be able to run Windows.... I like Vmware the best...

Firefox is good. Use it. A cool, jealously-inducing plugin for Firefox is: Cooliris (PicLens)

the best DVD ripper is handbrake. It has all kinds of different options, including a defualt iPhone/touch rip setting.
