is a discussion within the

Using the default restore from the downloads section? I'm having problems with the update and I just need to restore, but I have no idea how to. Thanks.

    A complete restore?

If that's the case then all you have to do is start up iTunes and click the restore button (with your phone hooked to your pc, of course). Keep in mind this is a COMPLETE restore back to factory. So hopefully you synced your contacts otherwise you're going to lose them all.

If you're talking about just putting things back with out a restore then download the stock icons and other goodies, availible from modmyi (thanx modmyi.com ) and go through the same process you did when modding your phone.

If your end goal is to be back to stock it's a LOT easier to just hit the "Restore" button on your iTunes. But that's just my opinion.

You can also hold down the power and main button for 25 seconds to force the iphone to request a restore if the computer is not recognizing it for some reason...
