Don't believe it?
WANNA HAVE PROOF?????
Then, on your own risk, verify this for yourself!!:
Goto your home-folder on your computer, so:
you/library/itunes/iPoneSoftwareUpdates-folder and check if there is a file wich's name ends with 'ispw'
Now (very carefull!) take a look at the icon-preview:
When the icon looks like a BRICK (4 buttons (yes only 4)-: on top, (see att)
THEN YOU ARE INFECTED!!!
I red that it can also can cause the new 'IRREPAIRABLE DAMAGAGE TO YOUR IPHONE SOFTWARE' (this must also be a new miraculous invention of Steve and his buddies)

Just for ur info .. i took my jailbroken 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 jb .
then restored it to 1.1.1 and then took it all the way to 1.1.3 to repair it.. then came down all the way to 1.0.2 and now running 1.1.1 without any issues

Yeah, that above is a hoax in itself. That ipsw (not ispw) file is direct from Apple, and the same one that is used to normal upgraders who do not jailbreak.
P.S. Of course it can do irreparable damage to your phone.... so can jailbreaking/unlocking... but that ain't a virus, now is it?

oh wow this is stupid.
Might as well close this, can't be having idiot rumors spread on my site.
Looks like I have been infected 7 times by the official apple file with the official apple used icon that is attached in the first post.
