Help!
One of our members (Pumpkin) was struck with a huge technical problem on his 2.4GHz MacBook Pro yesterday, the machine has been slowly dying over the last few days and has now finally stopped responding, it is just out of Apple care. Urgent mouth-to-chip resuscitation was tried, but his little heart stopped and now doesn’t even make a startup chime :-(

Before we send Pumpkin’s machine to the big spares depot in the sky we were wondering if anyone in, or around Grafton County, NH would have a spare Logic Board for a 2.4GHz Santa Rosa MacBook Pro that he could borrow until he works something more definite out. We don’t accept donations, but this is his personal cry for help, and a loan of this part would really help, Pumpkin was working on some great stuff that will certainly help with the next major release of PwnageTool. If you can help him with a loan logic board, or even the short-term loan of any Intel Mac then it would be appreciated.

We can’t set up a chipin, donations pool or paypal account for this, as we don’t agree with that and we won’t make any exceptions, but if someone could help him directly with a loan of the logic board or other repair method, this would be fantastic.

Sorry to say but i cant help them cuz they dont accept donations but when i saw that i was like if i cant help them may be sum other member on Mmi can if they can get diresctly contact to pumpkin

It's funny. People that post threads like this, trying to get other people to donate, usually have some excuse why they can't do anything themselves!
