It's not about an iPhone nor an iTouch............. It's about both.

Back when I first got into this the touch was BLAH and the phone was where it's at. No email on the touch, nothing.......

Now I understand the game has changed and a lot of developments have came along over the last few months, but as a general question........

What can the iPhone do the Touch cannot nowadays? (Camera obviously, phones calls) Do I have to pay the $20 to get the extra apps, or have we already figured out how to do that on a touch through a program? Is the iTouch still twice the pain to mod over the iPhone?

I am trying to decide if I really just want a Touch since I won't be using the phone part of the iPhone.

Well the new apps for the iTouch is a step, but you can still only use them when in Wifi situations...

Solved my own question........ bought a touch locally tonight

Let's see what I can get into now I used to know everything there is to know about the iPhone back in the black and white days on 1.0.2

This will be all new to me now.

I did. now if I can figure out a way to make the dock show a screen shot in the pics section of the phone I'll be happy (for a bit )

You have to make sure there are other photos synced previously prior to taking the screenshot. If that doesn't work, just download the screenshot program for a quick screenie.

Screenshot.app has screwed too many phones and pods up. I'm using dock.

I just don't understand why it can't work like it does on the iphone. Why the hell do I have to ssh a screen shot to a computer just to see it??!? (and why can I only take one).

That aspect was smooth as gravy on the iphone.

How do I change the folder the screen shot is saved in?
