Its funny that you are trying to compare Russian and US economy considering Russia is just starting to emerge as a world power once again. Considering the Soviet Union collapsed less than 20 years ago I think the new Russia is doing quite well although it cannot compare to the US just yet. No I do not believe everything I see on Tv, But I also do not get my news from state run tv either.
