I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

Whatever you do don't name him/her anything computer related, like the guy who named his daughter Vista.

I am very happy for you!!! A lucky and proud parent to be!!! The world is a great place when you take charge of your kids education and learning. Dont let anyone force you to succumb to the norms of this world, and i dont mean any crazy sh*t im just talking injustices.

Good wisdom here. As a parent of three boys now 18,16, and 13 none of whom follow the masses like lemmings, it hasn't always been easy. The best advice i can offer is to not mold your kids into carbon copies of yourself, dont push them into what you want them to be but to really get to know them and help them find ways to follow their own path. Stick up for what you feel is right for them against the norms of so-called society. You will knwo what is best for your kids. Unconventioanl kids need unconventional parenting. SOmetimes what is considered good advice is exactly the wrong thing a kid might need. Mostg advice is geared to pop culture loving, celebrity worshipping, insensitive extroverts. An introspective, sensitive, individualistic introvert nees different methods. The biggest job as a parent is to know which description fits your child (and everything in between) and do what works best for them no matter what your type is.

    End of lecture.

Congrats on the new addition to be.

pro-tip: don't forget to play alot of music. (something they can dance to.) trust me. my nephew LOVES any kind of good music that we play for him. Michael Jackson, Copeland, my various techno.

Congrats! That's great. I remember looking at the sonograms and thinking 'OK, I can't see sh**' in the early stages.
I only have one small piece of advice - don't teach your child to speak. My daughter is 4.5 yrs now, and she, literally, never ever stops talking, ever
