New to Macs...
Hey one of my friends has a Mac and I am installing Mac OS X on it because he is going to buy it off of someone if it works. When I am installing the OS the time remaining keeps rising!
For example I started it at 6am yesterday morning (July 30th).. this morning at 8am it said it had 55 hours left for the installation! I don't know if this is normal or not but it doesn't seem right, haha.
Anyone have any suggestions? Could it be the disc I am using maybe or something... I'm all new to Macs so I have no idea what's going on. Feel free to IM me on AIM @ GrabYourWeapons.
I'll be on there all day, I might just keep checking back here, just AIM would be faster. Thanks in advance!

Yeah I figured something was wrong haha. Like it looks like it's installing everything, it did the base stuff of the OS then the Essentials.. maybe I'll just let it run, but I knew something was wrong. I hope it's not the HD but could be.... ugh. Thanks for the quick replies!
