This is not photoshoped.
I took the back off the iFone, I used sand papaer, then I finanlized it by water sanding it.
I'm 80% done... I ran out of sand paper =/
this is at 60%

Open the back cover of the iPhone
(use this guide [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yz8a7z86a_4]YouTube - iPhone Taken Apart Step By Step[/ame])
Then remove everything that held down by screw, this includes all the buttons and the camera lens.
Now get ready to sand down the back cover using 400 grid sand paper, once you've removed all the paint, use a 150 grid sand blaster

sand from left to right so that it has a finishing surface look
Goodluck... do this at your own risk.-iP3G RebelSIM -Tmo

Taking apart iPhone = not for the average user.

It is for the average user with a pair of cahones, just not the average user who is afraid of ruining their baby.
I have taken my old one apart, only since I got my 3G. Wasn't as hard as I anticipated, probably because I wasn't worried about losing my only phone.

Nice, but the old iPhone deserves the classic silver, oh and a good way to remove scratches.
