wanna buy a mac, need to know where

ok, ive been a pc man ever since i started on computers, my dad works on pc but not mac's and i got a new laptop and wanted a mac but of course he wouldnt let me he had to pick it out but anyways i wanted to know where to a good cheap mac i was thinking a mini or mac book, but i dont want to spend a whole lot, so what should i get and where to get it cheapes, new or used

Apple sets prices for new equipment no matter who sels it, so you won't find anything cheap. Best bet is to look for used stuff on ebay or craigslist if you have one in or near your city.

Just buy the OS and install it along with your windows OS and have a duel, no need in buying a whole new comp. unless you just want to pay that much for one... just my opinion though...

from what i read thats not possible, something about osx using somthing other than a bios and drivers

yeah, do a google search for hackintosh. there are a lot of resources to get OSX running on non-apple machines that are running x86 based hardware.

as far as finding cheap apple hardware, unless its used you probably won't. apple does financing if that is an option for you. that's how i paid for my macbook. if you're in school (high school or college), they also provide educational discounts.
