The Joy of Bleeding Edge Modding
So back before Boot Camp existed, I had Windows installed on my MacBook Pro through hackerish ways of doing. Then I used Boot Camp a few times, but it didn't like me since I had a hacked up computer.
Long story short, today I decided to get rid of the Windows partition on my MBP. Boot Camp wouldn't let me since it was a hacked up install... so I thought, hey, why not delete the Windows partition completely? Sure... except then somehow I partitioned the WHOLE hd.
So now I have NO OS on my computer. Yay. Luckily I backed up before my fun, so I have all my stuff... except I don't have my OS X install disc. So I had to go the Apple store, and leave my laptop there overnight while they install OS X again. Then I hope for the best in restoring all my important important important files.
The joy of modding.

That sucks!!! Hopefully when I get my Mac Book I won't have those problems. What are you using now while it is in the shop?

normally i'd say that my guess would be the iPhone that he OBVIOUSLY has.... but judging by his ability to partake in the hackerish ways of forcing the MBP to accept Windowze, i would say he has another machine, prob a mac as well, seeing as once you get your first, its hard to go out and get a M$ machine...
unless he got the M$ machine first, then i confused myself....
but thats just me :-O

I coulda told you that.. If you create any sort of partition (Not thru Boot Camp), then try to restore it, it won't.. And back before it supported Vista, you would have to delete the 200mb partition that boot camp created to instal vista.. and if you did that, you could not merge back to a single partition again either..
WTF happened to your install discs? Those are like gold.. hahhaa
