If anyone took the time to read a legal disclaimer, they wouldn't purchase the item. Here's a laugh from Canada. An immigrant from Poland got an "unlimited" Data plan through Bell Wireless, so he started using the phone as a modem for his laptop. In the first month he racked up an $85,000 bill. Bell pointed out that in the "legal disclaimer" it states that the phone "isn't meant to be used as a modem" so using it as such isn't covered under "unlimited" data.

I noticed the disclaimer. Takes a long time to get to the bottom.
