I just bought an iPod from the Apple Canada store, and I tell you, it is going on one amazing trip.
Now, I'm sure Apple gets great rates from FedEx, but wow are they taking the loooooong way.
My example of the iPod shipping to me in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
- Shipment leaves Shenzen, China (many km away from me)
- Arrives in Anchorage, Alaska (3200 km to the northwest of me)
- Arrives in Memphis, Tennesee (3400 km southeast of me...pretty much the exact opposite from Alaska)
- Arrives in Mississauga, Ontario (3500 km darn near straight east of me)
This has all happened in just over 2 days. This package has been far east, north, south, east and will end up in the west.
I wish I could see the world like my iPod has!! LOL
Lmao. It's probably like a flight. Non-stop is normally more expensive then one-stop, hell even several stops. Just a voiced opinion though, I have no real evidence to back that up.
I agree that I would want to visit the world like your ipod, but seeing the sites from a small box on a fedex truck or in the lower section of a shipping airplane woudn't be that entertaining. Haha.
