Honestly if I could live anywhere it would be in Austin. It's an awesome place. So beautiful. Once I own the SA market I might move

lol! I went to Taco Cabana when I was moving back from Cali (3 day drive!). I was so excited to see a Taco C, that we stopped immediately! There was a guy wearing a sombraro, playing Tejano music on a keyboard, selling his cds! It was the most authentic Taco C I've ever been to!

I would have a hard time living away from Tex-Mex food. I lived in Atlanta for two years and the only way I was getting a breakfast taco was to make it myself.

Taco Cabana?!
Pshh I live in a pretty mexican neighborhood.. Mexican food is pretty amazing here.
And trust me, I've traveled all over the world - tasted food from all different cultures etc. I've had mexican food from mexico... homemade mexican food from my friends' houses (omg amazing)I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. I second Stealth's motion. I have had both and I'll tell you what. I had to put up with Cali-mexican food for 5 years... its awful...
My initial response:
"Thats not a burrito, thats a wrap... Your not Mexican! Your Mexican-American... possibly Asian! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!"
But, In and Out makes up for it!

That place made me laugh so hard..
Once again you were in NORTH CALIFORNIA! North CA doesn't come close to Socal

tell me about it.. ughhhhhhhh
but hey you pick up spanish at a young age.
exactly.. it totally depends on where you go.
I've noticed it's usually the "hole in the wall" places that make really good mexican food.. either that or they're disgusting.Last edited by angiepangie; 09-01-2009 at 12:41 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
