Which Firmware should I keep?

I currently have 1.0.2

Should I upgrade and unlock?

My 1.0.2 is already unlocked, I just figured i might be missing some useful updates.
my earpeice doesn't work so I was wanting to see if maybe upgrading would help.

definitely update it.
updates fix stability issues,
adds features (like tv out),
a lot of the 3rd party apps are now 1.1.1 and above

if you're going to update, go all the way to 1.1.2.
I don't know about the earpiece thing,
I guess it depends if it was something that happened after you were messing around with it, of if it is just a lemon that you got.. ??
