Hello. I recently decided that im going to upgrade to a Macbook. HOWEVER my Iphone has all of its information currently synched to my Gateway vista laptop. When I DO buy this macbook how am I to Get my information to my Mac?

Back up your itunes and address book, put them into your mac
sync iphone it will tell you that your phone is synced with another itunes account and if you want to erase all data and sync over with new info or merge data.

I think Zeal was being a little, shall we say, overzealous, but he has a point. The moderators have been pretty active lately pointing out incorrectly located threads, so you might eventually get a warning from one of them...

Just keep it on topic now. When syncing with a new computer, it will indeed ask to replace or merge the information. You can choose to replace the information on the computer with the information on the phone/touch, (or the opposite), or you can merge the information from both accounts. It's feasible if you read the options when syncing.

Zeal has a point wrong forum. As for your question, you should be able to merge the data or replace it when you sync to the computer. Should be in the first tab in the "iPhone section" when you connect it.
