Default Just bought a Time Capsule

Title says it, bought a TC 1TB and was wondering if it would be possible to connect to the internet without using the Wifi connection.

Before I had a PC with a Netgear Wifi router and I connected to the inet via the ethernet cable(modem to router, router to PC) and simply used the Wifi to connect with my iPhone to the internet.

Now, using the TC I can only connect to the internet via Wifi with my Mac and I have the same connection scheme like I had with my PC and I cannot connect with my iPhone bc I only get a IP beginning with 169.

    Anyone?

    Thanks.
If I could help you with my answer give me a

I have a 1TB TC as well - you can connect straight to the TimeCapsule through Ethernet to the Mac if you want, but you'll still need to set up the WiFi using Airport Utility on your Mac, then you can access the WiFi through the iPhone.

I access the internet via WiFi through my two Macs and the iPhones... but you could just as easily connect your Mac via ethernet and iPhone via WiFi, sure.

Yep, same here. I use the Gigabit ethernet for my desktop.
