ps3 has nothing on the 360 except the blue ray driver. xbox live is the #1 selling feature of the 360 and well worth buying it. i could never get used to a ps3 after having so much fun and experience playing online with real players..nothing can beat it. plus gears of war 2 is coming out and will be the most amazing game to date.

hahaha have you even seen the specs on the ps3. ill have this for 5-6 years as you will have to buy a xbox 900 or whtever theyll call the next one in 3. Xbox still uses standared dvds. psh can you imagin when the sctually start to fill thos2 50gig blueray discs with all game final fantasy 13/14 will have cut scene graphics for all game play. And Resistance2 will poop on gears of war 2

your crazy. Resistance sucks and isnt half of gow. Ps3 doesnt have half as many good games as the 360 and ps3 online sucks. 360 is superior in all ways besides disk size and ps3 owners know they got the worst system and just cant admit it.

no seriously go crack open a ps3 and open a 360 look at them right next to each other. the ps3 hardware is 5 years ahead of 360. go google it. the 360 will be outdated and not able to compet by the end of next year. Period end of story

I used to have both (the 360 was stolen when my house was broken into). But I think that it comes down to personal preference. I like PS3 over 360 myself, free online, most of the same games and more of the exclusives that I like (Gran Turismo, Rachet and Clank ect.)

Both consoles have their pros and cons you should weigh what your looking for and consider the ups and downs of each console.

looks like we got a fan boy. but its ok you relly dont need to beleive me. ill just be playing grand turismo 5 and ull need to get the next gen xbox to get those kinda graphics but its cool

ive never played grand turismo in my life and could care less, ill be playing gears 2.
have you ever even looked at side by side pics of 360 vs ps3? you can barley tell any diffrence at all. makes no diffrence to me, i know im playing the better console

i bought a 360 elite this past christmas and have not been disapointed at all. i can tell you that the future of gaming is here and its in multiplayer/online play. the 360 does cost money whereas playstation network is free, but 60 bones a year is hardly worth bickering about. especially once you get online and play cod4, gta4 and the halo's you dont even need to play story mode for those games, its all about multiplayer. i have been told that on the playstation network there arent as many ppl playing online as there are on xbox live, that says something right there, i never have any probs finding matches on xbox live since there are plenty of ppl to play with.. if i wasnt able to play multiplayer than i wouldnt play as much as i do and my gf wouldnt ***** at me for playing too much 360. i love my xbox, she's just jealous!

yep. every 360 owner does (that has it anyway). ps3 fanboys dont know what they are missing until they have put some time in with live. ps network is like a d+ to xbox lives A+..it couldnt get any better

lol i prefer average online for free. and it gets better ever update dont worry like you said the xbox has got a year on ps3. i like the 360 dont get me wrong but its hadware just isnt up to snuf . dosnt it ruin games if you move it when its on.. if a disc is spinning inside and you move it from horizontal to vertical or vice versa then yea it ruins the game disc. I have had a 360 since launch and not had a single ring of death ever..call me lucky.

360 is not perfect but imo its better then the ps3..blue ray is the only advantage that i see. my 360 looks perfectly awesome for me on my 34" HDTV

been a proud owner since launch week and picked up an original xbox on release day (also picked up a ps2 on release day for the record). had 0 problems with my 360 other then GTA4 freezing the first 2 days it was released but after 2days it never froze again so idk what was up with that.

ive never been more pleased with a console and I have spent countless days of my life enjoying it. (11+ days just on cod4 online!!)

I have also been wondering what would be better to get and I have came down to the 360...
1 I just graduated and all my friends have 360s so when we all part ways here in the next week we can play each other online.
2 I dont watch alot of movies in my room where the console would be so I really dont need a blue ray
3 I have read where 360 graphics edge out ps3
4 360 online is better
5 360 has more games
