I was debating on an A4, RS4, RL, and some BMW 5 series cars. With my wife nagging about pricing and our newly bought beach house, I had to settle. Tossed some wheels, a few engine bolt ons and full exhaust. I'm happy sitting at 322hp. Plus, I have substantial room just in case for any newcomers in the family.

Nice graduation present! As my Graduation present i might be getting a Audi A4 or A3 which is better to start off with? And i dont know if i want Atuomatic or Manuel
I have 2 Audi A4's a '96 manual and a '99 Tiptronic (auto)
Both are great cars. The 96 has 162,000 miles and is going strong, the '99 has 125,000 miles and is barely broken in.
The manual will give you better throttle response but the tiptronic isnt too bad either. You can run it in full automatic or in tiptronic mode where you do the shifting but no clutch. it will also dummy back to the proper gear if you dont do it.
I'd suggest browsing the Audiworld forums. Lots of great info there, just like here on MMi.
