If I weren't on the other side of the country, I'd go. Some of the Genii opening that store are the folks I trained with a month or so ago.

They were in stock with brand new iPhones, they must have had atleast 100! The first 1000 people got free t-shirts and the first 100 got red apple iPod socks that you can't even buy.
Overall, it was a great day. The biggest store in the US, and definitely the nicest out of them all.

Hey Zeal, first of all, it wasnt a pair of socks numb nuts it was a red sock for your iPod of iPhone that you can't buy, its exclusive to opening day. It's supposed to represent the color of the Red Sox baseball team and the t-shirt is made to look like the green monster and says Opening Day 05 15 2008. Its a redsox theme. These things are collectible. Not to mention the fact that this is the largest Apple store in the United States and the first one in Boston.

PS: I was there for a good hour and a half and there were still some phones left.

It actually was pretty cool being there. The socks were hard to get ahold of. They didn't have many, but luckily after they told me they didn't have any left, an employee had five in her hand and I got one

. There were a ton of t-shirts there though.
