We've got a Mac that was made in 1981 that's still running strong. We've got a Performa that still runs like a champ too. The first computer I ever used in school and did some programming on was an Apple ][. That was back in 1981 also.Hmm...

But you have a Mac. So you still rule!

I got my mac three years ago -- but that's not to say I used Windows before that ;-). I switched to Linux in 1996 with barely a glance back. Macs are a really nice blend of that ingenious Linux environment, and a system and interface that "just works". I love it!
...as long as it's running iTerm ;-)

I love my Mac. Course, you're still a n00b, so your user title says you still use Windows.

Got one for my 9th birthday, it was the first time ive ever even heard of a Mac and if it wasent for my uncle getting it me I would still be trapped in that unstable, ugly, money sucking environment called Windows.

Windows is not a virus, viruses do something.

I've never liked windows and when I saw mac it was love at first site. Plus the fact that it's great for artists/animators like myself. I've never had any problem with it at all, never had those annoying viruses like I did on my windows, it was so much better. My family complain their windows computers are always having problems asking me to fix it and I think they're getting macs soon.I hate windows..

I've been using a mac since I was in high school. I took video editing and graphics arts. I believe it was a G3. Since then Iíve always wanted a mac. I bought my first one (G4) when I started University. I now currently have a DP 2.0ghz G5 and a Macbook Pro.

I am currently a fence sitter. I started with the Mac Mini when it first came out. Upgraded the memory, added the bluetooth and airport card and even upgraded the DVD drive. Then I upgraded to the 20" LCD iMac Core Duo and am now awaiting the next update to the iMac line.
I still have a custom built PC with a QX6700 cpu, EVGA 680i SLI motherboard, EVGA 8800 GTX KO ACS3 video card, 2 WD Raptor X 150GB HD's in Raid 0, 2GB Corsair Dominator PC2-8500C5D SDRAM, 1 WD 500GB HD, SB X-Fi Xtreme Music soundcard stuffed in a Silverstone Temjin TJ09B case and a Dell 2407FPW 24" LCD. I spend most of my time on the iMac, can't seem to ween myself away from the PC games. Even Vista Home Premium can't pull me away from my mac for too long.
