Google Maps Driving Route define

I use google maps on my iPhone and feature find route to drive.
are work perfect.
But,
I wondering, Is there any way to define route (start here - to here)
by tab the map instead type location in search field?

Hm, interesting.

On my Blackberry Pearl, using Google Maps, I am able to enter destination, as well as selecting point on the map. I haven't tried it on my iPhone yet. But since this software is by Google, and this option already exists on other devices, I am sure Google is planning to add it to the iPhone, if they haven't done that already.
