I've heard rumors that Apple will be using a new scheme to stop resellers since Apple is now obligated to let customers pay cash for their iPhone. Apple is supposedly in the process of issuing "activation cards" alongside the purchase of an iPhone. The activation cards hold the buyer responsible for activating the iPhone within a certain period or else they will be charged a "termination fee" of $175. If this is true, I'm not sure what to think of Apple now...
