lol... somehow i guessed i was going to not get any good replies... but honestly this is going to a speeding ticket i just got (court date is the 2nd of july... BAAAAD timing with the iphone coming out)

I had a run of bad luck last week myself. Some hit my car in a restaurant parking lot and drove off, so i had to use my uninsured motorist coverage to get the $1664 repair done. Cost me $250 out of pocket. I hate people that don't have insurance and licenses. They're always the ones that drive away when nobody saw them.

Oh well, I'm not gonna let it keep me from buying an iPhone in 17 days!

but what really makes me angry is i got that speeding ticket, and they cop who pulled me over said NOTHING about my expired license tag...

next day i get pulled over for that simply because a state trooper happened to be driving in the same direction as me at the same time and gives me a citation for that...

it was just not my week!

Dang, I hear ya...I'm going there too ($220 speeding ticket)...no court date yet though. Funny, my plate stickers were also expired and the cop said nothing and he didn't ask for my insurance either. Last ticket had been 20 years ago and he threw the book at me. When I get my iPhone I will zap him next time.

I've been there on the expired tag thing. I always plan ahead now to mail that form in as soon as I get it. They don't play with that ticket.

i are still in college and under my parents shindig thing, and they went on vacation and forgot to tell me about it...

i know its my own damn fault for not knowing or remembering when my tag expires, but they were just sitting at home doing nothing while my parents left without saying a word. makes me go GRRRRRRRRR

Florida is easy, you just do it online and they send you a new one in the mail. Never have to leave your house, except to walk to the mailbox.

not to hijack my own thread, but ive heard that all that happens with an expired tag citation is that you provide proof of renewal, pay court fees and go about your way.

but im in kansas and that could be different...
