I burned Leopard (9a581) onto a single layer DVD, it installed perfectly, I got a big green check at the end, and it told me to restart. Upon restarting, it got through the grey boot screen, onto the blue screen with the cursor, and hung. For hours. I restarted, tried again, still no dice. I tried booting in safe mode by holding shift until I saw the apple, and still nothing. I'm afraid all of my information is gone! I want it to boot so badly, this has been such a horrible process. Can someone please get me unstuck!!! Thanks a lot.

How did you burn it?

If you did not purchase the disk from apple, or the download from apple directly,

then it sounds like a personal problem...
