So I am making my way over to the Apple side of things... but wanted an opinion.

I have been looking into the new 20" iMac but also the 15" MacBook Pro...

Since the specs aren't outright in favor of one another... does mobility trump all else? Will the iMac be a better experience at home, making up for the lack of mobility?

Using my computer in the living room on the couch could be a boon as well.

(BTW, I usually spend 60% of my time at home... and 40% of the time I would take it with me)

My last Macintosh was an LCIII

Opinions? or Personal Experiences?

Id probley get the MacBook and a LCD or hey you got one of them new plasma TVs? theay can hook up to them.

I would go for the laptop.

Thanks for the responses! I was leaning that way myself.

I think the MBP would end up being the better way to go. I think I enjoy being able to get on my computer anywhere in the house.

I am still open to other opinions.
