Leopard Arrived at 1030am today!!!! What blows, is I have to wait till I get home from work to open it!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

i thought it was getting released at 6pm. plus it got leaked a few days ago on a lot of torrent sites.

Mine was supposed to be here before noon EST I just checked the fed ex tracker and it is on truck for delivery!!!!! hopefully not much longer

Umm..

It is called bootcamp.

It just allows you to dual-boot windows and mac. But, you would have to have your CD for your windows version..

From the last post... I saw that Leopard allows you to run windows programs semi natively while running osx... i'm not sure the source or when I read that


I got 10.5 at 11:30 and tried to install it on my titanium pbk G4... When it booted to the DVD it wouldn't see my HDD in the installer however Disk utility from the disk saw my drive just fine, and I know it's not partitioned incorrectly so I have no idea what's wrong (although maybe its cuz my graphics card doesn't have core image)
Then I installed on my dual mirror G4 (1.25ghz dual) and the install went fine. However, it killed my user on the machine and now the only user that works is guest which doesn't have permissions for anything.
If I try to log onto my user the HDD doesn't show up at all and I have to Reboot... my friend said that maybe my older "POS" macs can't run it but a dualie? come on apple... 0 for 2... I should at least have been able to get one working with minimal effort...

Got mine this morning, but can't install it yet! I'm sitting here, tapping my fingers, looking at that box, and can't install it. The one last software update I need hasn't come through yet. We use SafeEyes and the current version is not compatible. Dangit!
