Leopard and iMovie:
I am wondering if the problem you are having is with the update of iMovie in 08? I know that when I loaded iLife 08 onto a PPC iMove did not work right I wonder if this is a similar problem.

I got one. Well sort of.

Convinced Brother in law to buy a MacBook instead of a PC Notebook. So he bought one today, it comes with Leopard. Only had to stand in line 30 minutes. He's setting up the MacBook now.

As soon as he's done. I'll be upgrading mine. hehe

PS: Got me couple Leopard Tshirt too.

Installed Leopard. Mail crashed a couple of times, so did Finder. Also, if you have SpamSieve, it will get deleted, then you'll have to install again, no biggie. There were also a lot of .mac/iCal and .mac/Address book conflicts that had to be resolved. iMovie seems to be working fine for me.

Installed Leopard, no huge problems other than some programs won't work. The main gripe I have is the Dock. Its absolutely horrid. Please let me find an app to put back the Tiger dock.

The newer macs use a intel processor, which makes it easy for windows to work on a mac. There are even hacks out there to let you run OSX on your PC.

My Leopard is working nicely also. Only bugs I have found is this odd half screen bit for a sec when closing apps. It's real random & only for a split second. Also one music clip a purchased one plays fine in iTunes but in FrontRow video is fast music is at correct speed.

great system, i can see some cool features, but i am pissed... my external usb modem is not working anymore (use it for 3g), and adobe crashes.... besides that.. loving it...
