Cmw is just running some tests and says that iPwner works fine and the ipswTool builds okay, but hasn't been tested on every iPhone version, bl, and bb. You can change the bootloader image, but that requires a restore or update, and the payloads are working. Expect a release withing the next 24 hours.

He muted the chat about 5 minutes before 11:59 to prevent chaos. He will definitely release something within 24 hours. He was tempted to do it about 20 minutes back. He said he didn't release it because he didn't want anyone to be disappointed or to break their phones. He still needs to do more testing with the boot neuter. So lets wait it out.

No problem, and thanks. He says that the ipswbuilder is tricky. He just doesn't want anyone to brick their phones. A few more hours of testing and hopefully it will be released

@ Coshan: That was totally irrelevant to the thread. None of that information pertained to the release of winpwn. Stop thread jacking.

Actually, it did pertain to the NON-RELEASE of the so far non-existent WinPwn. Stop ball-sucking.

actually coshan makes a point since Winpwn has been pushed back farther than george costanza's hair line. i appreciate CMW's work but he should stop getting hopes up if he wont deliver on time.

Well, since he is releasing a windows port of the dev teams work for free, I am willing to wait. Not to mention that the newest stable f/w release (1.1.4) can already be JB and U/L, so there is no nessecity for an immediate release. Though I should add that I'm stoked waiting for the release!
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

I dont see this coming out anytime soon. He doesnt even update winpwn.com
He needs to release it to someone else if he cant do it. Then just admit it and move on.
