well 5 past 12 on 14th of april and prices are as follows £269 - £329. the price they have been for MONTHS

iPhone sales aren't good here. Most phones on the market here have better specs than iPhone, and here, it's the specs of a phone that sell, not usability. Apple haven't broken into the market over here. Not at all.
I probably see an iPhone (other than mine) once a month.

The iPhone dropped by $100 in US after a few months.
With the rumoured, imminent release of a new iPhone (2.0, 3G or whatever) it would make sense.
All networks in UK use 3G. Why would anyone buy an inferior version (edge) when a 3G version is available? or will be!
£35 to £55 a month contracts in UK tend to come with free handsets. Add that to Edge and you have a reason for low take up on the iPhone.
Stop the childish replies and grow up.
A price drop is going to happen soon.
