    Default iPhone and Touchscreen DVD Player?

    Hi I was just hooking up my new Dual VD8181 hedunit today in my car and it is touch screen and it has a output for an alternative video source. So my question is if I get the AV jacks for the iPhone and hook it up to my DVD system in my car could I use it like I would the iPhone in terms of itunes and stuff?
    Any help would be much appreciated!
