This update for IOS5, along with YourTube 3, is long overdue. The IOS5 beta has been out for a long time now, and most other jailbreak apps have already been updated. I paid $10 for this software. Hopefully the update will be out soon.

i think that the developers will officially release it after pod2g jailbreaks iphone 4s and ipad2 ..but they must work on the older devices with a4 processor (iphone3gs/4 ipad1) that has a tethered jailbreak..!

Cocoanuts already showed not only that they are some of the slowest developers around, but they are surely the ones with the worst PR management. It's not new for them to twit something like "update coming soon" followed by months and months of complete silence. I can understand that such a tweak isn't easy to handle, but I pretend to keep getting informed.
The iOS5 update may come or not, who knows, the 4.3.x compatible version came out at the end and worked quite nice, but one thing I know for sure: I'll NEVER, NEVER buy something from this crew again. I can't accept to support ppl who consider their customers like these guys do.

For you guys still on iOS4.3 and waiting for Celeste to update, I can confirm the following works on IOS5.01
Gremlin does not work on iOS5 yet so why not install Celeste without Gremlin and then use iFile to move files around.
First
While on iOS4 with Celeste already installed, install and run ApptoDeb 1.2 in Cydia. In ApptoDeb, scroll down to Celeste and select it and edit the following option...
In Dependants, delete
", co.cocoanuts.gremlin2 (>= 2.1)"
Then click on make DEB and save it somewhere like Dropbox
Upgrade to iOS5.01 and jailbreak.
Set Cydia from user to developer, then you can search and make sure you have the following installed
Action Menu
Airplane SBSettings Toggle
SBSettings
Libstatusbar
BTstack
Darwin CC Tools
Link Identity Editor
Springboard Access
UUID generator
(Cydia can be put back to user mode)
Then from iFile, install the previously saved Celeste.deb file and reboot.
Goto Celeste settings and make sure you have Gremlin turned off as we haven't installed this!!
Bluetoothed files are saved in the*
var/mobile/received folder and can be sent to Camera roll with iFile. Music files can be inserted into the iPod library with PwnTunes.
Cydia will ask you to update Celeste, just click on change package settings, ignore upgrades
UPDATE
Photo App note...
to remove the sent via Bluetooth menu in the Photo App (which doesn't work), in SBSettings, click on more, mobile substrate addons, and turn off CelesteSSHelper and respring.
NOTE... don't forget to turn CelesteSSHelper back on first should you want to uninstall / reinstall / upgrade Celeste.
If the file transfer stops after a few %, then power off and back on to reset the modem hardware as a respring does not do this.Last edited by DC_Dave; 02-01-2012 at 01:37 AM.

Maybe Cocoanuts could post this deb, after all it won't work unless you have purchased it. The above method is to make it for yourselves using files you have already purchased. You might find more debinfo at http://www.ce4arab.com/vb7/showthread.php?t=393140

I wouldn't count on it, they didn't during the old 4.3.x times, when the only problem was the Action Menu lack of support for the newest iOS. Simply removing that dependency most probably would have made possible to install and use the application. This has to be the slackiest dev team I've ever met, they won't get a single dollar from me again.

By the way, YourTube3 can be installed without Gremlin 2 on iOS5.0.1 using a similar method

As already mentioned in this post cocoanutapps attitude to their paying customers stinks to high heaven !! They're arrogant and ignorant in thinking that in NOT communicating all he bad press will go away by itself. They do not respond to emails or tweets (as we know) , they do not keep customers in the loop in any way. Compare this to serious developers of tweaks such as Lockinfo or Springtomize where updates are posted continuously AND THEY KEEP THEIR CUSTOMERS UP TO DATE !! I presume no-one from cocoanutapps will read or reply to these post in what is designated as the official support forum !!!?

I ended up getting the Celeste deb myself, and I think it has conflicts with intelliscreenx, so I've removed it and don't advise it for anyone with that

Have you tried Celeste.deb without IntelliscreenX installed to proove your Celeste.deb is ok? After all, Celeste is about adding a feature which is missing from iOS.
You could try turning off
CelesteMPhelper
CelesteSShelper
CelesteVMhelper
From SBSettings, More, Mobile Substrate Addons and see if that works too.
NOTE... remember to turn them back on first should you uninstall Celeste.Last edited by DC_Dave; 01-23-2012 at 01:42 AM.

it appears that it is the isx toggles causing the harm with Celeste installed, even with those helper thingos disabled
