It works great for me! I have an iPhone 4 on 4.3.3, but it should work just fine on an iPod on 4.3.5 too.

It does work on iOS4.3.5 and
For you guys still on iOS4.3 and waiting for Celeste to update, I can confirm the following works on IOS5.01
Gremlin does not work on iOS5 yet so why not install Celeste without Gremlin and then use iFile to move files around.
    First
While on iOS4 with Celeste already installed, install and run ApptoDeb 1.2 in Cydia. In ApptoDeb, scroll down to Celeste and select it and edit the following option...
    In Dependants, delete
    ", co.cocoanuts.gremlin2 (>= 2.1)"
Then click on make DEB and save it somewhere like Dropbox
    Upgrade to iOS5.01 and jailbreak.
Set Cydia from user to developer, then you can search and make sure you have the following installed

    Action Menu
    Airplane SBSettings Toggle
    SBSettings
    Libstatusbar
    BTstack
    Darwin CC Tools
    Link Identity Editor
    Springboard Access
    UUID generator
(Cydia can be put back to user mode)

Then from iFile, install the previously saved Celeste.deb file and reboot.
Goto Celeste settings and make sure you have Gremlin turned off as we haven't installed this!!
Bluetoothed files are saved in the*
var/mobile/received folder and can be sent to Camera roll with iFile. Music files can be inserted into the iPod library with PwnTunes.
Cydia will ask you to update Celeste, just click on change package settings, ignore upgrades.

    UPDATE
    Photo App note...
to remove the sent via Bluetooth menu in the Photo App (which doesn't work), in SBSettings, click on more, mobile substrate addons, and turn off CelesteSSHelper and respring.
NOTE... don't forget to turn CelesteSSHelper back on first should you want to uninstall / reinstall / upgrade Celeste.

If the file transfer stops after a few %, then power off and back on to reset the modem hardware as a respring does not do this.

Just to be sure, you need to put Cydia into dev mode to be able to see and install some of these required tweaks? Because in User Mode I can't find some of these, f.e. UDID Generator, or BTstack. If I remember correctly, these used to get installed when you installed Celeste...

Alright, tried this way and I can confirm it works. As a sidenote, once you have put Cydia into dev mode, installing BTstack automatically gets the following installed too, you don't have to further look for these:
    Darwin CC Tools
    Link Identity Editor
    Springboard Access
    UDID generator

iFile is a great way to deal with Celeste, I strongly recommend to install it! I just sent a file form my iPhone to my PC with 0 problems. Now I'm thinking about buying pwnTunes, altough it has to be said it's a bit on the expensive side...

I just discovered what seem to be a small glitch due to this "forced install" way. When you are displaying a photo with iOS's stock photo app, calling the menu which in the past allowed you to send the image, the image app crashes. Ofc you can rely on iFile to send stuff, but just this so that you know...

Hi, you have to add to Cydia's sources the repo which has ApptoDeb in it. Just google it, it is free and seeing as you have already purchased Celeste, I can not see any problem in using this app to alter software you already own
Then Install ApptoDeb and follow the above.

I'm using 5.0.1 already, and I'm not about to downgrade to use apptodeb can someone post the modified deb file so I can install Celeste without gremlin.

Im not to sure, but Cydia may not let you purchase Celeste if you are on iOS5.0.1 so you might need to downgrade to iOS4.3 first anyway

@DC_Dave: Thank you for your answer, but I had already done this My problem is that I can't delete the ", co.cocoanuts.gremlin2 (>= 2.1)" using the ApptoDeb application. That is what I mean. The worst is that I made the deb file without deleting the "", co.cocoanuts.gremlin2 (>= 2.1)" and now having a 5.0.1 firmware I can't install celeste

I have bought Celeste but now doesn't work. Can you post here your deb file?

Odd? Have you got ApptoDeb 1.2?
When I touch the text we need to delete, an edit box pops up with mine. You might find more deb info at http://www.ce4arab.com/vb7/showthread.php?t=393140

By the way, YourTube3 can be installed without Gremlin 2 on iOS5.0.1 using a similar method
    YourTube 3 update

MewSeek tweeted 6 days ago that it's iPod music Import feature for iOS5 will be ready very soon so this may be another alternative to Gremlin. It is useful as you can edit your mp3 id3 tags with it.
PwnTunes already works for iOS5 and allows you to import music, artwork and playlists into the iPod library.
