Well, I can do any color. But Im still trying to work out the "kinks"....or in other words get a good method down pat.
Just ordered another airbrush ($150) and am eager to try it out. Wanna find an easier method to spraying the logo too....right now its a PAIN.

If you can paint the phone purple and leave the logo alone, I will love you to do mines and you never mentioned this the first place before i make my decision. =O

CPJR, i want to ask you something regarding the housing. Is the regular black housing from apple is skinnier than the red housing you installed for me? The case I bought from more-thing doesnt fit on my red iphone. o.O
I can try to push it in but im afraid it will scratch up my phone T__T

^I've noticed the aftermarket housings seem to be a little offset in size compared to the oem. Thats why the oem bezel doesnt fit on them perfectly either. So yeah, a little different. Stuff like cases will fit tighter.

So I received blkcadi's new iphone for some work. She nabbed it REAL cheap (im not even gonna say how cheap) from a friend, it had a busted glass and was scratched up pretty bad.

She also gave me permission to try out a super secret new method I'd been working on to "restore" the phone when it looks like crap......this is kinda how it went:
All pics taken with my iphone, so not the best of quality.
Before

Prep (I kinda like the matte black

After

What's ya'll think?

I think if this is your way of making money you need to invest in a way better camera and a tripod. You don't even need to spend that much. A semi decent one from costco will pay itself off in a couple of jobs. You really can't see the finish of the product all that well the way you're doing it now.

I have a $2000 Nikon, tripod, the whole setup.
But not on me right now cause my fiance has it. Not that I care I usually only post these pics to show the members who own the phone that Im getting the job done.
And yeah this isnt any way of making money.....its a hobby and helps people here.Last edited by cpjr; 05-21-2009 at 05:17 PM.
