    Default possible to get a good mac for $500?

    I have 500dollars and im interested in buying a mac laptop. but it seems 500 can only get me a crappy 30gig ibook. i know 500 isnt much, but what do you think i should be on the look for?

    Macs are just plain expensive. $500 doesn't get you very far.... sorry dude.

    cut some yards
    stack up another $200-ish

    get a bangin sweet MBP off CL
