I dont think it does cost anything. I downloaded it and installed it for free. I havent used it to JB since I was already JB-ed but I did fire it up to see what it looks like.

Must need 10.6 aka Snow lepoard.
Can't find the system requirements page for it.

can not get my movies on plex?

PLEX 0.6.6 works really well if you have a reasonably fast Mac (basic current iMac is fine), a decent network, and the latest iOS firmware in the ATV. The main trick is to get Plex and all the plug-ins working properly on the computer/server first. It takes awhile the first time you set it up to scrape all the movie and TV episode info from the internet. After that's done, as long as your ATV is on the same network, PLEX should then work quite well.
It's a tethered jailbreak though, so you really need to be able to easily get your computer next to the ATV (I use my MacBookPro). Sooner or later you will need to reboot, and unlike some tethered jailbreaks, the ATV won't function at all without the tethered boot.
