appletv wont finish restore using custom fw

Hey all,

I am trying to restore my appletv using pwnage tool 4.1.1's custom fw.

When I try to restore on my mac, it goes right up until the end of the progress bar in itunes, then stalls. and it has been there for half an hour now.

I tried doing it on my pc and i get:
DFU: error 1600
Restore: error 21

anybody had the same issue?

Do you have wifi sync installed?

I am posting this for anyone that googled having the same issue and found this thread.

Wifi Sync is the culprit.
uninstall on windows,
http://getwifisync.com/mac/uninstall.zip
on mac.

reboot, and it will work
