I tried both Apple stores here and 2 Best Buys and the Apple stores were sold out, one best buy was too, and the other didn't have any.

The second BB I thought I would get one because he said that they have a big pallet in of Apple items that came this morning but upon going back to check he didn't find any in the pallet.

So how is stock elsewhere? Apple store said that they will be getting shipments in of them everyday so to check back tomorrow. But I don't wake up till late so I will miss them most likely.

I think the idea of them being jailbroken is making them more popular than just a "hobby".

I enjoyed the first AppleTV, still do. I am very excited about the new one before the idea of jailbreaking.

The way my encodes are for the iPad they do not play well on the old AppleTV so having the same hardware got me giddy.

I do the same too.

Last I checked online had a 2+ week waiting.

2 Apple stores and many, many best buys in the area I don't normally feel like ordering online. Only exception was for the iPad because I knew that would be out of stock for a while. And I wanted one right off the bat.

All my local stores were sold out today. I was told that the Apple Stores here usually get their shipments at noon. So I will check back then

Changed it just today. Now it's the same as my gmail, twitter, ebay, etc. accounts.

It's 1-2 weeks online but if u get the one with the hard drive (160gb) it ships within 24 hours, and it only cost $50 more ($149). The best part of it all, it's in white =D

The twin cities is sold out all over. Tried 3 best buys and both apple stores. All of them were out of stock by noon on Saturday.

Yes there are more best buys in town but already went all the place so not going to all of them.

Gonna try again on Monday.

Why?! Only fans or followers would have known they came out cause apple didn't give a actual release date for them.

Bought it online last night. Says it will ship on Oct 19. I am hoping it will sooner. Tried Best Buy again today and they still don't have it in. Didn't have time to run to Apple to see.
