Lost Photovault Password
First off, I'm new. Anyways I'm jailbroke on 4.3.3 so I have full access to the operating system via ssh. I seemed to have lost my photovault password and I was wondering if any of you know how I can get it? I don't want to lose the photo's I have saved on there. Is there anyway I can recover the passworded photo's and put them on my computer? Or is it possible to find the saved passcode somewhere in the file system. Any help would be great. Thanks

It's called Private Photo Vault.

This thread has the answer you seek:
Private Photo Vault iPhone App | Enchanted Cloud Studios
Edit:
thread consists of William Sidell (developer) saying over and over again, that without your password there's no way to recover either the password or the pictures.Last edited by raduga; 10-25-2011 at 12:55 AM.

Well of course he would say that, but there truly has to be a way, don't you think?

Sure thing bro I'll get right on that, especially since isn't this forum used to help others?

Yes, we try to, but the question you asked is a tough one.
We have no way of knowing if you actually forgot your own password,
or if you're trying to break into somebody else's phone.
We're not asking you to "prove" anything;
its just that cracking passwords is very, very sketchy.
(and could be against ModMyI site rules. I've asked the moderators clarification).

I didn't mean to come off as a douche. Just if something is called a "vault" I assume it is encrypted. Besides if he did leave a backdoor on his program, wouldn't that be pretty shady?
Like raduga said though, we don't know for sure if it is really your stuff you are trying to get into so I don't feel comfortable trying to help with specifics.Gamertag - TJ McHoonigan
