Once again, I believe this should have been Mod's Favorite App Store applications as I was not informed either.

Clearly you all don't travel. Tripit!!!! Oh, Soundhound is better than Shazam.

IMO Angry Birds is so over rated- don't get me wrong, it is a fun game but is it really that great? I can think of several games that have something angry birds is lacking: replay value. Anywho, hmm I would have tossed Firefox Home and Netflix on that list fasho! It's cool to see some top ten list action goin on here.Idea: how about an ask the users top ten? Open a thread, give the users 5 days to chime in and see what MMi peeps have in their favorites folders'?

Good idea, but it may be a little hard to keep track of. I think the point of these ones was to get people to post their own favorites as well. So feel free to give us your own top 10 list. may be some gems in there that we will want

I am using both Navigon and TomTom at the moment. I like Navigon due to the fact that it actually shows the specific icon of the POI on screen while TomTom is the opposite. On the other hand, TomTom does make my travel time shorter (meaning that TomTom actually guided me to a faster route "shortcut" ). Gives or takes. Just my opinion on the navigation apps from the Apple store.

Tweetbot (GTFO with this Osfoora crap )
The Weather (full disclosure: I worked on this app)
Snowtime (full disclosure: I worked on this app too)
Soundhound (which I edge out over Shazam but both are acceptable)
There, hate away.

Sorry to bring back an old post, but Textfree with voice is really good too.

My most frequently used on iPad is TabToolkit. This app is a great way to store your favorite scores and guitar pro tabs. They will play back in real time using the onboard midi player, you can alter the timing to learn tricky parts, mute individual tracks, you name it. In fact this is the main reason i pick up my iPad on a daily basis.
